Outreach Projects and Parish Life
The Little Red Church with the Big Heart at work.
Redeemer’s Quilting Ministry has completed a large quilt depicting images of historic ones used by the Underground Railroad to lead enslaved people to freedom. In celebration of Black History Month, the quilt was donated to the Greene County Library where Carolyn White is shown discussing both the historical significance of these quilts and her inspiration for creating this particular one with other parishioners. The quilt now hangs in the library for all to learn from and enjoy.
