Enjoy cooking a meal with Andrea and put food on the table for others. All money raised will go to Greene and Putnam County Food Pantry.
Our Chef is the very creative and talented Andrea Cassell. She has currently published her third children’s book, “Kibby Moves to Georgia”. Andrea has also published a cookbook, “Nahima’s Hands”, Unique Mediterranean Cuisine. Her
passion for cooking and many of the recipes in the book come from her grandmother, Nahima, who migrated to the
United States from Syria when she was three years old. Aside from being a talented author she is also an artist and
accomplished singer, former Miami Dolphins cheerleader, Mrs. Kansas, and she even had her own TV show “Cassell’s
Corner”, a show that touched on cooking tips, DIY projects and more. You can read more about Andrea or purchase her
books if you go to her website: www.andreacassell.com
Tickets will be $20 or more. If
you prefer not to pay online, you can send a check to the church (payable to Redeemer Episcopal Church). Please
identify with “COOKING FOR A CAUSE” and include your email address. Remember, upon receipt of your payment, you will receive, by email, a shopping list and the URL link.
Third Saturday of each month. There is no cost for this meal. This is a time for us to meet and feed some of our neighbors who don't always have the opportunity to have a good meal. Lunch will be served in the Activity Center, behind the church from 11:00 - 1:00
Profits from this event go to the Greene County Food Pantry. WE ARE COLLECTING NOW FOR SPRING SALE, 2021. In 2018 we raised over $4,000 and in 2019 we raised over $6,000. We accept donations year round. Contact us if you would like to donate for our 2021 event.
