“Our Outreach has backed many projects over the years, all of which, in my estimation at least, are hallelujah moments. The one that sticks out in my heart, mind, and soul above any other was when someone stated, after I mentioned the church I attended, "Oh that's the church that helps people." She summed our Outreach Program up in a nutshell. Because of steadfast help, we rejoiced when two students, whom we have been tutoring/mentoring for 10 years, graduated from high school this past May. Each is attending the college of their choice. The graduation defines our help in the community as a gift way beyond our purse strings. Our help comes from the heart. Atlas Ministry

ATLAS Ministry, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian organization serving Greensboro, Georgia and the surrounding area. Formed in Greene County in 2006, ATLAS is a Christ-centered community resource that works with families who are committed to setting their lives on a healthy and productive new path.

Food Baskets

Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Baskets… Assist with preparing baskets of donated food, paper goods and toiletries for needy families. At Christmas we add wrapped gifts for the children (clothes, books, toys). At Easter we include children’s Easter baskets. The benefits go to different families each year. The food, gifts etc. come primarily from the generous members of the congregation. Perishables are donated or purchased with funds from our Outreach Budget.

Circle of Love

Circle of Love….This haven for abused women and their children serves several counties. The shelter is always in need of food, white linens, toiletries, paper goods, clothing, and items for children such as toys, school supplies, and books. Bring donations to church services or The Activities Center.

Christian Outreach

A fun place to volunteer and a great place to find a few bargains. Sales go to fund the needs of the people in Greene County. Currently, three of our parishioners serve on the Board of Directors.

Habitat….Provide lunches four times a year.

Our Father's Kitchen

Join us the third Saturday of each month for lunch. We serve a complimentary lunch of soup and sandwiches to our neighbors in the commuity. 11:00-1pm

Camp Mikell

We send young people from Greene County on their first ever camping trip and usually their first ever trip outside of Greene County.
This year we sent Darion. He spent the week having lots of fun and “Learning about God”.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels… Assist in delivering meals to shut ins and Senior Citizens.

The Senior Center welcomes volunteers for the Meals on Wheels Program, Health Programs and Recreation. Please contact the center at 706-453-7463 for more details.
